Evie rolls

I'm a little slow in updating, but a couple of weeks ago Evie rolled! She hasn't done it since mind you, but she did it! Poor little thing gets very little mat time so I'd imagine her milestones will be a tad late!

But here's proof she did it!

Dadda's back!

The kids were loving having Dadda home gifts and all! We had a picnic in the park to celebrate. (It is seriously hard to get everyone looking at the camera at the same especially Mali, she looks everywhere but.)

With little time to settle in, we decided to head up to Palmy. It was meant to be a really nice weekend and the kids were busting to get out of the apartment and burn some energy. Its so special down there, and easy entertainment for the kids.

One thing I know Evie would say if she could talk... 'I missed falling asleep on Daddda's chest'.

Halloween

This year was the first time we participated in Halloween. With Nate away it was a bit of a mission but Mali was very excited and I couldn't possibly let her miss it. It had been a long/boring couple of weeks with the move so I was determined to be a fun mum for the kids.

The day started with Mali spending the morning at her school meeting her buddy and learning the ropes. She is so ready for school, I thought, like a lot of other mum's, I'd be sad that she is growing up but I'm really excited for her. I'm looking forward to all of it, even sitting down and doing homework with her! She is so keen to learn and can't wait for the moment when I hear her read.

After the visit to school we headed to the apartment to crimp hair, paint nails and get dressed up. Mali was SO excited, Hugo on the other hand had no idea what was going on.

The kids had a great time, I can't wait to do it next year, the street we are moving to is very popular for trick or treaters.
